Art-Quilts

When I discovered art-quilting more than twenty years ago, my goal was to explore every aspect of this diverse medium.  I knew that developing a strong skill set would allow me to eventually drop all the rules and simply go where the work wanted to carry me in the co-creative process that I most enjoy.

Below are a few slideshow galleries with samples of original work in a variety of techniques I've enjoyed exploring. Scroll across the images to advance the slides.

Classes

I encourage students to work in as many styles as they can possibly explore. In my opinion finding one's voice is less about a consistent, repetitive expression and more about knowing what one wants to say in whatever expression they choose.  For this reason my classes are focused on helping my students create from within their own unique perspective using a variety of techniques for expressing their individuality. I offer private and semi-private classes from my Central Texas studio.
